Comings and goings thorough the WWE Revolving Door

Aside from the Hardy’s returning to the WWE two other former employees signed new deals. Jim Ross was brought in to call the Wrestlemania Roman Reigns/Undertaker match since it was going to the Taker’s last match. It looked to be a one-off but Ross signed a two-year contract the very next day. The deal will have Ross do multiple things with WWE which could have him call matches; do work for the WWE Network, DVD’s and more. At the NXT TakeOver show before Mania we also saw the return of Drew Galloway under his old WWE name of Drew McIntyre. He had decided not to return to Impact and suggested he was going to work in multiple promotions but decided to return home. The WWE is also likely to be the home of Mike Bennett so Maria Kanelis will also return to where she began her career. Who we will not be seeing in WWE is Simon Gotch since he and WWE decided to part ways. His last appearance was in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the WrestleMania 33 pre-show. His tag team partner Aiden English has gone back to the singing gimmick he used before he was put with Gotch as the Vaudevillains. Gotch had a few issues backstage with a few of the boys and got into a backstage fist fight with Sin Cara in the summer of 2016. His personality rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Tajiri is also leaving the company after his recovery from a knee injury. He will return to Japan. And in a related note backstage WWE NXT interviewer Andrea DiMarco has been released but rumors that Tough Enough winner Josh Bredl has been cut were proven false.
