The relationship between former WWE talent Alberto Del Rio
and current WWE talent Paige has been to say kindly volatile. It was not looked
at in a positive fashion within the WWE and was mentioned to her by a variety of
people to break it off and stay away from him. When he was on the main roster
there was an incident after a Las Vegas show that had the police called to the
scene. Last year there was an incident in Texas at an airport involving the two
of them supposedly about a cab ride. And recently the current GFW Impact World
Heavyweight Champion Alberto El Patron was detained by police at the airport in
Orlando, Florida. The police were called due to a case of domestic violence. No
one was arrested but TMZ reported that he and Paige were arguing in the terminal
and cops were called once things escalated. A witness reported that the two
started at each other on the airport tram and Paige was screaming that Del Rio
had been doing cocaine for “two days straight” and she called him abusive. The
witness was dropping her mother-in-law off at the airport when she saw Paige
outside of a restaurant close to the entrance of a terminal. Paige was pacing
back and forth with tears in her eyes and when she noticed the woman taking
pictures of her Paige went back into the restaurant. Minutes later Paige stormed
out of the restaurant crying and yelling with Alberto chasing her as she made it
for the tram. Del Rio was soaked but kept after her. The witness followed them
onto the tram and Paige supposedly said, “You’re such an abusive husband, I hate
you. You’ve ruined my life, you’ve ruined my career.” As they continued the ride
Del Rio allegedly said, “Check her bag, she’s got all the coke in it, it’s all
hers.” Paige did comment on Twitter that she received some bad news about the
health of her uncle and that’s why she was upset. She later went back on Twitter
and admitted that she threw a drink on Alberto but then went on to insult the
witness for having the nerve of being concerned about her. GFW has suspended him
until they can investigate but since their shows are taped in advance you can
still see him on TV. He is also stepping down as the figurehead president
position at Combate Americas until the investigation is over. Paige may have a
problem with WWE since if she is convicted of battery or even arrested then
under WWE policy she can be suspended and if found guilty fired. Paige is
currently out if action due to a neck injury. She was in the news earlier this
year when video and pictures of her having sex with Xavier Woods was leaked
