One of the things that will happen with this weeks Marvel Legacy is a return of
some characters in one-shots. So far Marvel has announced Darkhawk #51, a
one-shot from Chad Bowers, Chris Sims, and Kev Walker. The book will come after
the characters’ appearances through Loners, War of Kings, Avengers Arena and the
Fraternity of Raptors last seen in All-New Guardians of the Galaxy since they
are trying to steal Chris Powell’s amulet. Sims and Bowers are huge fans of the
character and mentioned him in meetings all the time so Marvel said go for it.
The team of CM Punk and Dalibor Talajic are bringing back Shang Chi, Master of
Kung Fu who was last seen in Iron Fist. Silver Sable & the Wild Pack will return
in November from the team of novelist Christa Faust and Paulo Siqueria. This
will be the second comic work from Faust who has written numerous movie tie-ins
and adaptations over the years. The one-shot according to Faust will be Die Hard
with a female lead and have her face off against an all female terrorist group.
And in a related note we will meet the 1,000,000 BC Avengers team in Marvel
Legacy #1. The team of Odin, Iron Fist, Ghost Rider, Phoenix, Black Panther,
Starbrand and Agamotto will debut there but Jason Aaron says we will see them
again. |
