The
Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Enzo Amore had major backstage heat
after an incident on a tour bus weeks ago. On the bus he was loudly complaining
about the wrestling business but bragging about how much money he was making.
After being told repeatedly to tone it down he ended up being kicked off the bus
by Roman Reigns and when he got to the arena he wasn’t allowed to dress in the
main locker room but in the hallway. He tends to rub most of the talent the
wrong was. Enzo violated locker room etiquette by bringing in people to the
locker room who shouldn’t have been there. This was aggravated when the guests
started filming and taking photos of the wrestlers. He was also the subject of a
social media rant from a stripper from Buffalo, NY who had issues about how he
treated her. His trying to get into the music business is another problem. His
on the shelf partner Big Cass also has heat due to him being a vocal supporter
of President Donald Trump. The decision to break them up bothered both of them
but it was always going to happen. What has saved Enzo so far are his major
promo skills and that led to him being moved to the cruiserweight division. An
amazing thing about the whole situation is that when he’s on camera his
personality is turned down, not up. Former WWE performer Simon Gotch (Seth
Lesser), in a recent interview with RF Video, said of Amore: “He is 100 percent
confident in himself to his detriment and the detriment of others around him.
He’s an example of someone who has no excuse to not know wrestling, but he
doesn’t know wrestling.” His former partner Big Cass will be out after suffering
a torn ACL until at least next April so let’s see if Enzo is still around by
then. |
