Before he signed with DC Marvel offered Brian Michael Bendis Wolverine and Deadpool…Chris Claremont returns to the X-Men for a story in X-Men Wedding Special #1. The special has stories from Kelly Thompson and Marc Guggenheim as well as art from Greg Land, Marika Cresta and others…Donald Glover’s Lando Calrissian will star in a new Star Wars limited series written by Falcon’s Rodney Barnes…artist/writer Chris Samnee will not sign another exclusive so he can work anywhere he wants after Captain America #700 ships…yes that was Shazam in Infinity Countdown Prime #1 and Jarvis was mentioned in a recent issue of Action Comics…Gabriel Hernandez Walta will leave Dr Strange since his Marvel contract is over…Declan Shalvey is working on a Marvel project that will be seen after he is done with Image’s Injection title with Warren Ellis and Jordie Bellaire…Spider-Gwen artist and co-creator Robbi Rodriguez will retire from mainstream conics after the arc that follows the current Gwenom arc…Rogue & Gambit’s Kelly Thompson has signed an exclusive…Dan Slott has known when his last Amazing Spider-Man issue would be since 2014. #801 will make him the writer who has written more Spider-Man stories than anyone…Marvel will do five one shots under the heading of Marvel Super Hero Adventures. The one-shots will be from Jim McCann and Dario Brizuela…Marvel has hired former Wildstorm VP John Nee as publisher. He succeeds Dan Buckley, who is now President of Marvel Entertainment…Conan the Barbarian will return to Marvel in January 2019. No creative teams have been announced but the promo art used in the announcement was from Esad Ribic and Mike Deodato.
