for Wolverine: Claws of the Killer’s Mariko Tamaki and Juan Cabal launch a new
X-23 series this July that will star Logan’s clone Laura Kinney, and her sister,
Gabby, aka Honey Badger. The Claws of the Killer involves Daken, Sabretooth and
Lady Deathstrike reacting to the fact that Logan isn’t dead. The mission in X-23
will show Laura trying to make sure there will never be another X-23. She is
very serious whereas Gabby is just happy she has cool powers and feels she can’t
be hurt. That will create an interesting dynamic between the two of them and a
team of guest stars from the Marvel universe. The book will also guest star the
Stepford Cuckoos so the family dynamic will be a bit strange.
It all begins with X-23 #1 which is currently scheduled to ship
on New Comic Wednesday-071118 with a $4.99 cover price and a variety of variant
covers. As always it will be "1st Day Sale" priced at 25% OFF ($3.75!) on
