He's Back, Free of the Void and With Some Old Friends

The Sentry was a continuity implant that didn’t exist until Paul Jenkins created him. He was one of the most powerful heroes in the Marvel Universe but he was unstable since he was at war with The Void who could take over his body at any moment and destroy the world. Sentry popped back up in Doctor Strange and the Void is now imprisoned in the Sorcerer Supreme’s Sanctum Sanctorum, making the Sentry is free to fight crime. But what does that all mean? Can the Sentry be trusted by other heroes? What is his relationship with his human alter ego, Bob Reynolds? Jeff Lemire and Kim Jacinto will answer those questions in the current ongoing Sentry series. Lemire believes that Sentry is three different people: Sentry, Void and Bob Reynolds. And since Sentry and Bob are two different beings they have very different lives. The first arc will involve Sentry’s old sidekick, Scout, Misty Knight and Tony Stark. Lemire is setting his stories in the Marvel Universe and another reality. The villain in arc one is Cranio, who was introduced by Jeff Parker, in his Sentry series. And yes, we will see the Void eventually.
