Marvel has a new series out now that shows how Carol Danvers is dealing with the
fact that her mother was actually a Kree. The new series is from Kelly Thompson
and Carmen Carnero. In the new season we will see Carol encounter Spider-Woman,
Iron Man, War Machine and Avengers Academy alumnus Hazmat. This time around the
book has Carol based on Earth where she is processing the events of the Life of
Captain Marvel limited series. Thompson will show her reconnecting with being on
Earth but from time to time Carol will leave the planet. Carol will end up in a
relationship with a character we already know but it doesn’t seem that person is
the now alive James Rhodes or Tony Stark. Both will, however, be regular
fixtures for the book. Members of Alpha Flight will show up but the supporting
cast will at the start be Jessica Drew, Hazmat, Echo, She-Hulk and a surprising
guest star. Carol will fight new and old characters so expect Deathbird and
Mystique to show up but have help trying to take Carol on.
