All the news there is to know about the currently shooting Bond
25: it’s still assumed to be the fifth and final outing of Daniel Craig in the
role…the script has been worked on by multiple people including Craig but is now
being worked on by Killing Eve’s Pheobe Waller-Bridge…the film has no working
title so rumors of it being called Shatterhand are false…shooting was delayed
after Craig was injured but is now on track…the cast includes Lea Seydoux as
Madeleine Swann, Ralph Fiennes as M, Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as
Moneypenny, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner, Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter, Rami
Malek as the villain, Captain Marvel’s Lashana Lynch, Game Night’s Billy
Magnussen. Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’s David Dencik, Blade Runner 2019’s Ana De
Armas and Nox’s Dali Benssalah…the synopsis of the film reveals that “Bond has
left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is
short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for
help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more
treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain
armed with dangerous new technology.”…executive producer Barbara Broccoli has
made it clear there will never be a female James Bond…one hot rumor has
Bodyguard’s Richard Madden as the next James Bond…in a surprising twist
Christoph Waltz will return as Ernst Stavro Blofeld. He will appear in the same
manner that Brian Cox appeared in Michael Mann’s Manhunter, a brief cameo in
which Bond visits the incarcerated villain to get details about Malek…before
signing on the play the villain he met with director Cary Joji Fukunaga to make
sure the character wasn’t going to be a stereotypical religious extremist.
