The Judge Will Cut Him a Break If He Doesn't Bother Anymore Waitresses

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones pleaded no contest to a reduced charge of disorderly conduct in connection with an incident at an Albuquerque, N.M., strip club in April. The plea means he doesn’t admit whether he is guilty or not and he reached a plea deal with prosecutors. If he stays out of trouble for the next 90 days then the case will be dismissed. Jones was accused of battery after an incident that supposedly happened on 4/19 at TD’s Eubank Showclub, where a waitress claimed he made inappropriate contact with her, even after she told him to stop. She claimed he touched her inappropriately then when she complained he put her in a rear-naked choke hold and lifted her off the ground. But no witnesses saw Jones do it and the victim decided to not to pursue battery charges against him. And so the case just went away. Jones has denied the incident ever took place.
