Former
UFC two-division champion Georges St-Pierre made his latest retirement official
months ago but now he says, “The word retirement doesn’t mean anything right
now.” But GSP will only return of he gets a chance to fight UFC lightweight
champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. He returned from a four year break to beat UFC
middleweight champion from Michael Bisping at UFC 217 on Nov. 4, 2017. The
return was supposed to be part of a four-fight deal but St-Pierre decided to not
defend the belt and retired on 2/21 of this year. And he has made it clear he
wants a fight with Nurmagomedov something that UFC President Dana White isn’t
interested in but seems to have warmed to the idea. The number one candidate for
the belt is Tony Ferguson but if that fight doesn’t happen GSP is expecting a
call.
