KILLING SONJA

In the upcoming Killing Red Sonja limited series from Dynamite Entertainment we will see the son of an evil emperor that died at Sonja’s hand track her down with the intent of killing her. The book will come from the team of Mark Russell, Bryce Ingman and Craig Rousseau. Russell says the reason he took on the series was to show that nothing happens in a vacuum. One action here leads to another action there and when it’s all said and done nothing is ever the same for all involved. Since Russell does the Sonja ongoing as well he realized that he took the job to tell a history-based fantasy tale but ended up telling stories about personal regret and flawed ambitions.
