Changing Weight Divisions Brings New Challenges

UFC President Dana White says Conor McGregor will no longer fight as a welterweight. White also says that we aren’t going to see McGregor/Nate Diaz 3 because McGregor has to defend the featherweight belt. He hasn’t fought in the weight class since he knocked out former champion Jose Aldo by knockout at UFC 194. Aldo is now the interim 145-pound titleholder and White says McGregor has to defend that title.
