Cornell and Ryan Kelly’s Vertigo series Saucer County will be revived at IDW as
Saucer State in 2017. IDW is also republishing the original 14 issues of Saucer
Country in advance of the new title. The series starred U.S. Presidential
candidate Arcadia Alvarado, who was abducted by aliens’ hours before she entered
the race. She did return to Earth and in the last issue became President of the
US. Cornell says the first issue will serve as a catch up and end with a shocker
that sets up the rest of the series. All throughout the series Arcadia will try
to discover who and what took her from Earth along with her ex-husband Michael.
The series will answer all the questions left hanging when Saucer County ended. |
