 After
announcing they were going to do an all-woman’s tournament earlier this year
it’s finally official. The Mae Young Classic will have 32 women compete to
become apparently the best woman wrestler in NXT. Plans are to start taping the
episodes for the tournament in July but maybe not at Full Sail University. WWE
is already signing talent and doing their standard background checks and tests.
Some are probably already under developmental deals but the WWE has signed a few
top female wrestlers. As of this moment they have signed top Japanese talents Io
Shirai and Kairi Hojo. They are looking for a fair amount of international
talent. |
