When Guardians of the Galaxy’s James Gunn posted a picture of a TRON light cycle
fans began to speculate he was going to direct the third TRON film. Gunn says he
was just taking a picture with a prop and no, he is not making a TRON sequel. He
went on to sat he has a Rocketeer mask displayed in his office and isn’t making
a sequel to that either. If the film does happen it will probably be directed by
TRON Legacy’s Joseph Kosinski who has an idea for a third film that would have
elements of The Grid coming into our reality. He had about 80% of the script
done then Disney got cold feet. Disney seems to have changed their mind with the
rumors that Suicide Squad’s Jared Leto is being approached for a TRON film not
connected with Legacy. |
