Cris “Cyborg” Justino has vacated her Invicta FC
featherweight title and put UFC champion Germaine de Randamie on notice. She has
carried the belt since 2013 but hasn’t defended the title since January of 2016.
Cyborg actually has a UFC contract but since they didn’t have a weight division
for her she fought for Invicta. UFC now has a 145-pound women’s division and so
she can finally fight on the big stage. After being cleared of an anti-doping
violation she wants to fight de Randamie who is recuperating from and hand
injury. Cyborg has been telling anyone who is listening that if she doesn’t get
a fight soon she wants UFC to release her but that’s not happening. |
