team behind Green Arrow and Old Man Logan Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino are
working on a new ongoing series from Image Comics called Gideon Falls. The
series will follow a young man who may be suffering from a mental illness. He
sees a conspiracy in the city’s trash. He will be linked to a Catholic Priest
who arrives in a small town filled with secrets. Both will explore the mysteries
of The Black Barn. The idea behind the series came from things that Lemire was
working on in 2000-02 that never came together because his art skills weren’t
developed enough. The series will contrast the two characters with their own but
different inner demons. Norton may be crazy and Father Fred is questioning his
faith. The Black Barn is something both see and may or may not be real but in
Fred’s small town it’s a rural legend that may be where evil dwells.
