Chris Chibnall already has in mind of what he wants to do to shake things up when he takes over Doctor Who. Rumors have the eleventh season having a serialized, season-long arc with no standalone episodes. He wanted to do things differently and the BBC went for it. One person who is working with him on the series director James Strong revealed that Chibnall has a five year contract so the story he has in mind may not end until then. Right now fans are waiting for the Christmas show that could involve a cameo from Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald which has happened before with other companions before a new Doctor is introduced. When season eleven begins Jodie Whittaker will only have a ten episode season but the episodes will be an hour and not the traditional 45 minutes. Whittaker will have a new sonic screwdriver and the inside of the TARDIS will be different. Her companion will be Bradley Walsh but also along for the ride will be Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill. British actress Sharon D. Clarke will be along as well but it isn’t sure if she will be a friend or foe.
