Pineapple
Express’ Danny McBride and David Gordon Green are working on the next
installment of Halloween and they have a different take on what the film will
be. The film will ignore the Rob Zombie reboot and every film before it. Their
version will take place after the first film so Halloween 2 never happened.
McBride told Empire the film will have Michael Myers as human and not a
supernatural person who could not be killed. He says that makes Michael as scary
as he was in the first two films. John Carpenter is the executive producer and
consultant for the film and will work on the score. The 2018 film so far has
cast Jamie Lee Curtis who will return as Laurie Strode. Ant-Man’s Judy Greer is
in talks to play her daughter. And by ignoring the second film Laurie Strode
isn’t related at all to Michael Myers. |
