Arrow’s Benjamin Percy has taken over the writing duties on Nightwing along with
Five Ghosts’ Chris Mooneyham. Their first arc began in Nightwing #44 (on sale
now) and is entitled: "The Bleeding Edge". It introduces a
villain known as Wyrm, who lives on the dark web. Percy wrote a novel called The
Dark Net that dealt with the criminal side of the web and VP Dan DiDio suggested
he use what he learned using Dick Grayson. Percy agreed to do it and says the
threat of the dark web will involve Nightwing and other DCU books as well. When
we meet Wyrm we will actually be seeing a digital projection because there’s a
whole army online. So Nightwing will be facing something he can’t punch. |
