Simone will become the prime architect of LionForge’s Catalyst Prime superhero
line. Titles like Accell, Noble, Summit will not be rebooted or start over but
have Simone’s ideas drive the series. She took the job because she was a fan of
the talent used by the company but the imprint hasn’t attracted many fans. Her
plan is to attract new readers and bring back old ones who have lost interest in
the line. That may mean shrinking the line but keeping people interested in the
company. Simone doesn’t seem to be writing any of the books for the line so this
is similar to when Warren Ellis was in control of the X-Men books. |
