 Annihilation’s
Alex Garland is developing an eight-episode event series for FX. Devs will be a
self-contained story with an ending that leaves the door open for more episodes.
Garland says the story is about technology that can handle lots of data with a
powerful processing power, and what can happen when the two are combined. The
series will be set in San Francisco. Garland had some bad news for 28 Days Later
fans as he discussed the new series. There will be no 28 Months Later. There
were rumors a third film was going to happen but a rights dispute has likely
killed the film. |
