 The
25th anniversary of Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross’ Marvels will be celebrated with
new projects from the team and Marvels 25th anniversary Alex Ross variant
covers…Gwenpool will return in a new project that hasn’t been announced…there
are no plans to bring back Amalgam…Jason Aaron and Russell Dauterman will
reunite on War of the Realms…there are no formal plans for John Byrne coming
back but the door is open…a Young Avengers return in 2019 seems to be a
given…the sister duo of Jen and Sylvia Soska and Flaviano are doing an ongoing
Black Widow series…each Conan book will run serialized novellas as a nod to
Conan’s pulp fiction past…2019 will bring back the Marvel Comics Presents
anthology series. Each issue will feature three separate stories starring
Wolverine, Captain America and Namor. Wolverine’s story takes place in the
1940s, Captain America takes place now and the Namor tale will reveal an untold
story featuring an atom bomb. Creators attached to the series include Charles
Soule, Greg Pak, Ann Nocenti, Tomm Coker, and Paulo Siqueira. |
