Season Two Sees a Continuation of Current Line Up Plus Additional New Series

Season one of Titans on the DC Universe streaming service is over and there is a second season ordered. Currently in production is a Doom Patrol series with Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl, and Crazy Jane being led by The Chief. Doctor Who’s Joivan Wade has been cast as Cyborg, the man who actually puts the team together. Brendan Frazer is set to play Robotman, Alan Tudyk will play the villain Mr. Nobody, Timothy Dalton will play The Chief, Matt Bomer will provide the voice of Negative Man and the rest of the cast is: Negative Man (Dwain Murphy), Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby) and Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero). Doom Patrol is expected to air in early 2019. Gotham’s Crystal Reed will then play Abby Arcane in a live-action Swamp Thing TV series at DC Universe. The pilot will be directed by Underworld’s Len Wiseman. Halloween’s Will Patton will play businessman, Avery Sunderland, who is set on developing the Louisiana swamp that creates the title character. That role will be played by Andy Bean as Alec Holland and Derek Mears as the creature. The series will also star Jennifer Beals, Virginia Madsen and Sharknado’s Ian Ziering as Blue Devil. The show will have appearances by Maria Sten as Liz Tremayne, Jeryl Prescott as Madame Xanadu, Henderson Wade as Matt Cable and Kevin Durand as Jason Woodtrue/Floronic Man. Following Swamp Thing will be a Stargirl series starring School of Rock’s Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitmore and Community’s Joel McHale as Sylvester Pemberton, aka. Starman. The show has Anjelika Washington and Giancarlo Esposito in the supporting cast alongside the Walking Dead’s Brian Stapf (as Ted Grant) and Lou Ferrigno Jr. (as Rex Tyler/Hourman). There are rumors a Batgirl is in the works. There was a Metropolis series announced but nothing has happened with that show yet.
