We first heard that the third and fourth Avengers were to
be called Avengers: Infinity War – Part I and Avengers: Infinity War – Part II
but that changed. Now the third, just released film is Avengers: Infinity War and the title of
the fourth film's title will be revealed shortly. The title for number four is
is being held since it's name will probably spoil the
events of the current film. The films are no longer interconnected but will have some
connections. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo say that all that changed as they were
working on the films. It just made more sense to tell the story from different
perspectives since there are at least sixty characters appearing in the two
films. We will not see Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel until the fourth film and
according to Scarlett Johansson Infinity War is set at least 2-3 years after
Civil War. And so we can deal with the elephant in the room fans have openly
wondered where Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye is in Infinity War since we know he was
present for shooting but isn’t seen in the trailers but Joe Russo says don’t
worry Hawkeye’s on his own journey in this movie. One person who is in the film
for sure since he’s listed on the one-sheet is Game of Thrones’ Peter Dinklage
in an unrevealed role. The Russo’s are asking fans to not spoil Avengers
Infinity War online for at least the first week or two after release and the
film makers have done their part with no advance screenings being made before
the Los Angeles premiere on the night of Monday April 23rd. In fact, the
premiere will be the first time the actors will see the film since all were kept
in the dark on the true story of the film. |
