Brock Lesnar decided to stick with the WWE a bit longer prior to WrestleMania. The new deal pays him more and isn’t an extension of his current deal. The new deal may have a clause in it that allows one UFC fight but Lesnar would have to reenter the drug testing pool and serve out his suspension. Everything all came together on the Monday before Mania and the contract was signed right before his match with Roman Reigns. Reigns showed up to Mania with the idea he was going over but was told of the change that day. The original finish of the match was for Reigns to recover from an F5 and spear Lesnar for the pin. The blood wasn’t an accident and the referee didn't know the finish until he got into the ring. Once the match was over Lesnar and Vince McMahon exchanged words backstage. Lesnar ended up throwing the Universal title belt in the direction of Vince. Paul Heyman has also signed a new short term deal.
