Impact Wrestling interviewer McKenzie Mitchell is now with WWE as an on-air
host…House of Hardcore commentator Matt Camp has signed with WWE as an on-air
host/digital talent for WWE…Drew McIntyre recently underwent minor surgery but
is expected to return soon…Elias is out with an injured ankle with no return
date as of yet…instead of a NXT TakeOver event, WWE will instead run a Worlds
Collide show before the 2020 Royal Rumble. The show will be held at the Toyota
Center in Houston, Texas on 1/25…Ric Flair said that he is threatening legal
action against WWE for their use of "The Man". Flair told TMZ that a WWE lawyer
blew he and his lawyer off on two separate occasions in 2018 and 2019 about
financial compensation for Becky Lynch's use of the term he said he's used since
1981. He claims the WWE lawyer initially said the term wasn't even close to what
Flair had trademarked and that he has tried to work things out but even HHH
wasn’t willing to work out an agreement. The problem is that he says he owns the
trademark for the phrase "To be the man, you got to beat the man" which does not
give him exclusive rights to "The Man."
